“Ability to attend to an object jointly with another person is an important prerequisite to learning to speak and interact socially.” - Dr. Vidya Bhushan Gupta.
This is the central idea behind ‘iLookAskNShow’ app. This app attempts to teach a child this skill of joint attention, particularly the use of finger and corresponding eye gaze to look, ask and show things.
This App has three sections Look, Ask and Show.
The ‘Look’ section is where the parent shows child to look at objects or things of interest.
The ’Ask’ section is where the child asks for things around.
The ‘Show’ section is the interactive one where the child is prompted to select object or visual.
This App is collaborative effort of Dr. Vidya Bhushan Gupta and WebTeam Corporation.
